3. User Accounts & Google Authentication

To access community features (such as listing books, RSVPing to meetups, or creating a tutor profile), you must authenticate through Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Promptly notifying us if you discover any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. User Content & License

You retain full ownership of any text, images, book reviews, listings, or other materials you submit to SlurpingNoodles ("User Content").

By posting User Content, you grant SlurpingNoodles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform and its community features. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license without violating the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

5. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Conduct

SlurpingNoodles is designed as a welcoming, healthy sanctuary for readers, learners, and mentors. You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Harassing, threatening, stalking, or defaming other community members.
• Uploading hate speech, sexually explicit materials, or violent content.
• Impersonating another person, educational institution, or entity.
• Posting fraudulent book listings, deceptive tutor credentials, or fake reviews.
• Scraping, crawling, or extracting platform data using automated scripts without written consent.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance, or security of our servers or database.

7. Intellectual Property & Copyright (DMCA)

The SlurpingNoodles name, logo, custom graphics, user interface designs, and platform code are the proprietary intellectual property of SlurpingNoodles.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied or posted on SlurpingNoodles in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notice to slurpingnoodles@googlegroups.com with a description of the copyrighted work and its location on the site.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SLURPINGNOODLES, ITS FOUNDERS, OR OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE PLATFORM OR USER INTERACTIONS.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, harms other users, or disrupts the integrity of the community.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make updates, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SlurpingNoodles after revisions become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
